    Drivalia is located a few minutes outside Birmingham Airport, but they provide a shuttle service that will pick you up from the airport to their location. You need to call the number on your booking to arrange pickup on arrival, so you’ll need to have the booking receipt and a phone to hand . Very straightforward and hassle free to deal with. They had no problem making a small change to our booking. Our car was in mint condition and their service was fast & friendly.

    I have made a hired purchased on a car and the website it have said that they were open, I have arrived at the place and everything was shut, gates down. However I heard a lot of music behind the big gate with the lights on. Indicating that someone is there. No one responded at all. I had rung the company and to no avail, just kept ringing

    If there was an option for no stars
    Cars are not checked properly when given to you from the Birmingham branch but heavily inspected when returned. Marks aren’t updated on the piece of paper they give you.
    I would advise to make a video of the car and every mark you see.
    Received an email about a bus lane fine on the 1st May. Car was rented around the 23rd December. No attempt was made to contact me from when they received the fine. They withdrew £90 from my account. So they hold on to your bank details.
    £35 for bus lane done which I’m not disputing but £55 for admin charge is disgusting and I wasn’t even notified prior to the email. Avoid and don’t use

    Unfortunately, this rental with DRIVALIA was handled quite differently than previous ones I’ve had at their Leeds branch. I reserved a Ford Fiesta-sized car, but on-site, they offered me a VW UP for a same price. After a lengthy discussion, they suggested a Vauxhall Corsa, and I had to pay extra for an automatic transmission. On the highway, the car exhibited suspension or wheel issues, causing significant vibrations in the steering and the entire vehicle. When I reported the problem to the branch, they insisted it was Lane Assist and functioning as intended. Eventually, they directed me to Assistance, but unfortunately, they didn’t address the issue at all. It wasn’t until the next day that someone from the Birmingham branch called me in a rather impolite manner, suggesting I exchange the car at their Leeds location, which was over an hour away. Overall, a very disappointing experience – I won’t be using their services again.

    I had to attend at the Birmingham branch multiple times and there was always a very long wait (first wait was over 1 hour). This is due to one customer service representative working and an extremely high number of customers. My reserved rental car was not available even though their computer system said it was and then I was forced to take a damaged shuttle bus. It was dirty inside as it was actively being used as an airport shuttle bus and there was no time to clean it. Even the AC did not work on a very hot day.
