    I was really looking forward to the reserved e-vehicle but this positive vibe was gone in minutes.
    After arriving I had to wait (outside) more than 15 minutes as the clerk was busy with another customer and when I finally was served the first comment was: the car you reserved has a Tabaco smell as the previous person did smoked in the car. But don’t worry I will put a comment in our system??? Why doesn’t Hertz not clean their cars after someone left a terrible smell in the car? Then I had to pay off course and apparently Hertz doesn’t accept a non UK card… all three credit cards I had with me were declined?? Well I stayed one week now in UK after I left Hertz and I didn’t had any issues with paying since then?
    The comment of the clerk was: I am sorry but I can’t do anything for you??? A colleague of me wanted to try his card at the end but then Hertz had the rule that he needed to be also been put as an extra driver (what implicates an extra surcharge). As you can imagine this was the...

    I have used Hertz on many occasions, but this time the lady was not very friendly and they gave me a Polestar, we had 2 large suitcases. They just about fitted but the issue was the back self board. The boot refused to close due to the self. I took the shelf out and went to give it back to the hertz letting them know that this self is causing me an issue. Can you please leave it to the side and put it back in when I return. They refuse to do this, a straight no. Considering I have 3 small kids and some luggage they still refused to take the board. We had to fit it in the back seats with one adult and 2 children. This is totally irresponsible of them, why would they do this? Not happy with hertz.. And I’ll be writing to them to complain of this too.

    Received car with 50 miles having being used prior but car showed as full. Edinburgh Branch very helpful.
    Birmingham branch charged me £130 for missing fuel when returned full. Full being full not driven for 50 miles then given back as full.

    After complaint for £130 fuel charge, customer services overturned and refunded after multiple emails. Again this was done done through Edinburgh.

    Overall experience was fine minus incorrect charge,

    Car was good, people are nice but their policies are ridiculous. They give you an electric car at 84% charge and expect it back at over 80% too. Now, if it’s a normal case with petrol cars it’s fine to have these policies but if you’re driving from far away and are usually pressed for time at the airport, stopping for 30 mins to charge the car is quite stressful. What they charge for recharging is also extortionate atr

    Very very bad experience with hertz Bermingum airport doesn’t bother about gold and above level members even cope-rate customers.

    Better use other rentals services for your peaceful mind and lovely journey.

    They have their own rules to charge customers extra money so beware……….. in advance.

    Hertz was not like this before I don’t know what’s happening now with their leadership management.

    Looks like a private local owner company changing customers one time as much they can and that’s it.
