0 You have already voted! Rating:2 I hired a car from this branch of National Car Rental in August 2021. In terms of booking the car, picking up the car, using the car and returning the car, everything went pretty much perfectly. The reason I am scoring only two stars is because of what happened afterwards. A few days after I returned the car, I received an email from National saying that the vehicle had been damaged. The email included a photo showing a mark on the boot of the car. I immediately replied to this email explaining that I had not caused any damage to the car whatsoever. I mentioned that I had jet washed the car with my brother at his house immediately before making the short journey back to Birmingham Airport to return the car. The mark shown in the photo was definitely something that my brother and I would have noticed when we were cleaning it. No incidents occurred during my drive back to the airport. As such, the car was returned in the same condition that I had collected it – damage-free...

Super friendly staff; when I found out that the car they’d picked for me might need an engine oil replacement soon; they tried to upgrade me to a bigger car, and when I decided I didn’t want that, let me pick a different one and rushed off to get it washed. And then threw in a free tank of petrol, too.
