0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Sandwell council have used this place as a dumping ground for waste and have left the historic graves damaged and destroyed by using large machinery to cut the grass between them.

Refilled a grave and put the soil at the bottom and all the clay on top, we couldn’t even walk on the grave to place flowers, we had to go out and buy a car boot full of top soil and dig the grave out a foot deep ourselves and refill it with soil and 5ake away the clay, unbelievable.
Then walking around the cemetery bins are disgusting full and rubbish all over the floor around the sides and back of bins, other areas used as a dumping ground on show right next to historic graves, absolutely shocking

Update Dec 21 – after a call to Sandwell Council I am pleased to say that they have taken the criticism on board and are looking to improve the condition of the cemetery. It’s not just words as I have seen some measures taken and apparently more is planned so hopefully we’ll see what happens.
