Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 We enjoyed our experience at May’s. Dropped in last minute and were welcomed by quick and attentive staff. Food was delicious and fairly priced.

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 First day of opening and our first impression is that May’s has a warm atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food. May was talking to everyone making them feel welcome. There was an influx of people as it was their opening and table service was slow towards the end (one desert never showed up after 45 mins and asking 3 times). Not sure they were quite prepared for the amount of people. Price was between £19-£22 for a main course. 11 & 13 year old enjoyed it. Would go back as imagine after the first day hiccups it’ll be faster service

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 We came here on opening night, and the food was INCREDIBLE! When you see somewhere with both Chinese and Japanese cuisine it’s probably natural to think that one will be better than the other – we had the tasting menu that blended both, and both were amazing. The service was a little slow, but it was opening night, and it was obvious this was a temporary issue. May is so committed to customers’ satisfaction, and she came to see us to ask for our feedback and to ensure our experience was brilliant.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Upon walking in we were greeted by the loveliest lady and the rest of the staff! We walked in by chance as my partner was parked outside and we was looking for somewhere to take the little one to eat. The food was divine!!

A charismatic owner / host added to the experience.
We were there on its second night and the restaurant was full .
Service needs improving but I’m sure that will be attended to the longer they are open .
