Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 Placed order with uber eats, it was then cancelled after over an hour. I called the restaurant and they said it was almost ready and they would deliver themselves. Half an hour later I called again, they said they were delivering now and that we would need to pay cash on arrival. We then had to walk to a cash point. We then waiting almost 40 minutes more and still didn’t have the order. I called again and they said the driver had just left the shop, it had been well over 2 hours. I asked on the phone if we have a discount since we had waited so long and they agreed we would pay £30 instead of £47. The order arrived and the driver said he would only discount the order by £3, my partner then sent them away. The food would have been sat there for at least an hour before even getting to us. What’s worse is its my partners birthday and this was a treat.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 All the loves goes to making the food, just like I had expected when I walked into this poorly decorated, owner operated, restaurant. It was my 1st time in Birmingham and I was on the hunt for quality and authentic Chinese food and No.1 Chinese Cafe delivered.

I had the Pork and Bean Curd with a spring roll pancake; good stuff and not the sort of thing you get in many places.
5 stars. If you are interested in ambience this is not for you. If you are interested in real Chinese food look no further.
