Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 Today, I went to Costa Coffee to charge my phone and intended to buy something, as that’s the usual procedure. When I asked the cashier if I could charge my phone, she immediately said no. I then asked if it would be possible if I purchased something, but she said she couldn’t take any orders because her till wasn’t working.

0 You have already voted! Rating:3 Great hard working staff but the air conditioning is broken down. Definitely not conducive to a pleasant atmosphere. Why do Costa allow their staff to suffer through ridiculous working conditions? Staff kept a positive and respectful attitude despite putting up with the stuffy interior. I had to leave as I was sweating. Shame

Rating:5 The staff in this store are lovely,always a smile for you,they know my order before I say anything,and always have to time to ask you how you are.regardless of queue size they always are cheery and very patient with customers.my cappuccino always bang on and made with love

However, I saw the customer before me pay in cash. I offered to do the same and even said I could pay the exact amount, but she still refused to take my order. It felt very dismissive and unprofessional. I felt like I was being treated unfairly, possibly because of my brown skin.
I left feeling extremely disappointed. I expect better customer service from Costa Coffee. Please train your staff to treat all customers with respect and provide proper service.
