Okay place, the facilities are nice but glad im leaving soon!

The teachers will teach at you but won’t help those that are struggling. I struggled in the 2 years of my course the and whenever i asked the head of A levels or teachers they would just tell me “its big school now you need to look out for your own education and if you’re struggling you need to read more online about it”. Basically told me to go away and look online the entire year. If i wanted to teach myself I would have stayed home to do so!!

Failed my A levels, as did my entire 3 classes, due to their poor teaching and preparation for the final exams. Went from having A’s in the practice papers but the real thing a flop because the teachers completely failed our entire class. Only did a practice paper 2 one month before the exam and the first time I ever saw a paper 3 was the real exam!

Absolutely useless teaching, covid was no escuse.

Worst college to study teaching assistant course. The tutor withdrew me from the course, dispite knowing I had completed the work and was up to date. Tutor did not want to check work, and was unwilling to support, help, assist, guide and to encourage me. I had been through alot already on placement, tutors have been unwilling to listen to my side! Tutors are very very selfish and unprofessional. Complaints are not dealt with professionally, and take forever, tutors seem to get away with alot, and I find this so unfair. needs to be investigated. So unprofessional. I am shocked to read more reviews, that students just get withdrawn at this college without a good vaild reason, and without students consent. college does not want to listen to you! Students have the right to study! The curriculum manager doesn’t care, the principle won’t bother, they tell you to do your Maths and English again, when you have already achieved that, i completed functional skills, and got advised to...

Terrible live sound and events course which has now been shut down thankfully. UPDATE: it’s been 3 years since I finished the course and I have still not received my grades officially from the college despite handing in all my coursework. DO NOT GO TO THIS COLLEGE. Level proceedings to follow after wasting £11,000 on this terrible course and not receiving my grades.

I did two years of the games design lvl 3 course, the girls on the course (Inc me) and weren’t treated equally at all. I became close with another student and started dating, he then had to help me as I suffer with extreme anxiety, this usually meant he gave me a hug etc. We then got called into the tutors office and got told off for being ‘inappropriate’ and ‘making other students uncomfortable’. This was complete bull as all the other students were our friends and understood why there was contact. This then made my anxiety a lot worse and I frequently cried during lesson. The receptionists and security are rude as well, especially during covid times. And to top it all off, the tutors told me I would achieve a distinction or merit at the end of the course, I then received a pass because my work didn’t meet the criteria even though they had told me it was great.
