Showing 5 reviews Rating:3 Clean and nice charity, but too high prices.Charity shops are made for people who cannot afford to buy anything in normal shop. This high, fantastic prices, sometimes higher that in the shop where it was originally sold.It is sad, kindness, compassion and the desire to help the poor are absent here and it is so sad. People give their things for free in the reeds to help, and the store makes such huge prices.I have many friends who are struggling with the money and they buy clothes and kitchen appliances, accessories and shoes in charity shops.

Rating:5 This is Shirley main thorough fare where once were 16/18 charity shops…now since the pandemic has whittled down to a bare minimum…but those who survived are still providing an occasional bargain or two!

An example: mooching around Age UK the other day happened to grab a Lacoste pique shirt, all proper and newish, in my size (which always helps) and would normally cost £60-70…
£5.99!! Wuhoo..!!
Support all your charity shops wherever you are ad maybe you’ll bag a bargain and that makes your day!!
