Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 I went there over 2 weeks ago with my 2 young children 7 and 4. As normal children, they like touched things what they see and there was this one lady came across Rude when she told them not touch things coz if it’s broken they will need to pay! I did told my children to stop touching and they did, then I continue looking around the store and decided to buy, soon after I paid, my children play under the clothes rail that has few items on the top. Yes I can understand she was probably meant well by telling them not to play under it But the way she was telling them was really not a person who should be represent Barnardos that are Representing or support Children’s Charity! I bought few things from them that day, asked for refund and told them I will Never step into that store ever again. Thank you but no thanks.

Rating:5 went to Barnardos and found the staff very carinng and nice and welcoming. The items were priced up very good. They had a book on dog training that is hard to get an i got for a fraction of the price id pay new. Massive selection of items available would recommend this charity shop.

Rating:1 I entered the shop early on Saturday Morning to have a look around as it appeared to be a new store. I spent 15 minutes wandering around and despite there being 4 members of staff not one person said hello or acknowledged me to see if I needed any help. I’m my opinion the store wasn’t laid out very well and there seemed a lot of empty shelves and gaps…not the experience I normally receive with I visit Charity Shops to hunt for bargains.

A lot of care and attention has gone into making this shop a pleasure to be In
The staff are very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful
Happy to see they don’t allow dogs in
At least the clothing remains hair free
And children can shop with thier parents without fear, not all children like dogs.
Keep up the great work
