Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 In my opinion one of the best charity shops in the area! Merchandise is laid out beautifully in colours, plenty of quality items and all reasonably priced. Small but quality homeware/bric-a-brac section too. Lovely friendly volunteers who often make homemade craft bits to sell at the counter. I never fail to come out with some treasure.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 I visited the St Marys’s Hospice shop today on Dovehouse Parade. Was greeted by a lovely volunteer who referred me to a woman who I can only assume was the Manager as I said I would do Gift Aid. She was so intent on telling me what they couldn’t take instead of being thankful & appreciative of what they could take I left the items I had brought in & walked out without Gift Aiding. Both her response & attitude were appalling. I kept the other exceptionally good quality clothing for the Blue Cross who are always pleased & grateful to receive quality items. I have never before felt annoyed enough to write a review for anything but St Mary’s is a fantastic cause & I may not be the only one to have taken my goods elsewhere because of the Managers surly & dismissive attitude – they may be missing some much needed income as a result.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 All St Mary’s Shops have great quality stock and offer great value items. The staff are friendly and the money they raise all goes to looking after the patients in the hospice. Its a privilege to be asked to work for them.

Rating:1 Gone horribly down hill over the last year all the nice staff are not there anymore,used to have class about this place that has changed since the change of staff what seems to be a manager whenever I visit is very moody and rude and unlike the other staff has zero class,so no surprise any good items do not make the shop floor.
