Showing 5 reviews Rating:4 Nice big place and the missus managed to find an item or two . It has a cafe and toilet but declined to eat there. No changing room for changing clothes but it seems this a Wolverhampton thing perhaps.

Rating:3 Bought items from their entertainment section which was some cds and cassettes, charged £1 for 3 went in again just around a week later and they charged individually for each item, wanted cassettes for the cases only as majority of them had no inlays inside. You should not be making up prices as never had this problem with other shops, they have set prices and stick to them. Charged differently for same amount of what I bought both times. Bad for reputation, as should have sign by entertainment section with the prices displayed. Should not just charge whatever you like when people get to the till, different staff both times who obviously don’t communicate, prices should be clearly displayed and if things are missing out of the item inside should not charge same as perfect ones. Sorry but should price things properly, as charity is good when done properly.

The deputy manager told me to “supervise my children” they where feet away from me and she was bang out of order talking to me the way that she did. My 6 year old told me on the way home that the last was rolling her eyes at him when he was looking at stuff. She accused them of opening loads of boxes which they DID NOT DO. they where picking things up and looking.
If you don’t want things picked up prior to buying out signs up to say staff will assist in showing you items before purchasing.
The lady who served me at the till was polite and helpful. My son found a little jacket he wanted that I didn’t want to buy after that incident but felt bad not getting my son a little jacket. I will not be shopping again in Compton hospice shops it’s disappointing because the cause of the charity is close to everyone’s heart and people such as her stop the charity from making money.

So I said “ok” and walked away,five minutes later a customer is sitting there having just been served.
The excuse was given that this individual comes in every day. So to get preferential treatment at Compton Hospice I have to come in every day.
If this is the attitude I’d rather not come in at all. I have purchased/donated enough items to this shop in the past. If other people are being given preferential treatment. I will not be coming in again.
The sooner it closes the better. These miserable sods should stay at home.
