Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 Many thanks to Tom from the Solihull branch for facilitating a speedy repair to our cd player and for recommending an appropriate amp and speakers which he went to great lengths to demonstrate and ensure they produced the right sound for our needs and were within our budget. His knowledge and thorough explanation of the set up was invaluable when we collected the equipment from the store, even talking us through some minor setup glitches when we got home. Dave was also very friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend using these guys. Mike and Wendy

Wayne, David and Tom really are so helpful, supportive and completely awesome in every possible way. David carried my stereo from the shop to my car which was around a 15 min walk away which really was very kind of him considering I was walking with crutches, the whole experience from the customer service to the aftercare is impeccable. If you want to buy any sound or vision goods I highly recommend going to see these guys 1000 percent. Cheers guys.

However I was not happy with the performance compared to the 6000a I purchased from him a year or so ago. So I requested a refund. Upon talking to David he told me to keep the amp for longer and let it burn in so I did . I left it on day and night for a week. Now I am convinced I have the best amplifier for the money…PERIOD. All thanks to David I didn’t miss out on this gorgeous bit of kit…and folks this was just running it through Bluetooth. Do I need to say more . Thanks again seven oaks David. Cheers Oh and by the way..they won’t be beaten on price. David does things only superman can do so give him a try then thank me after.

But what sets this place apart is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, from choosing the product to getting it installed and set up correctly. I would 100% recommend SSAV in general and the Solihull store in particular.

I’ve always wanted to treat myself to a decent system but where to start ?
I visited a few of the competitors but didn’t feel that confident, that changed when I
Called in to the Solihull branch of SSVS , met Tom , explained my wish list and budget.
Tom arranged a time to bring in some of my favourite albums and I listened to a few options .
Tom couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing was too much , he swapped a few speakers around , explained what was the best options.
I felt Tom really understood what I was after , we spent 2 hours there !!
Tom left us to listen to our albums and gave us great advice.
When I got my system home there I needed a bit of advice on setting up a few things, rang Tom and he talked me through the set up .
It was really easy but it’s been years since I set up a hi fi , the advice was so helpful.
Tom even rang later to check I was getting on ok .
Tom really went the extra mile for me , I know when I need any hi fi !!
