Never seen such rude staffs and such poor service from anywhere else across UK. Starting from receptionist till the end of my service I haven’t seen a smile on none of the staffs face . I haven’t noticed a please or thank you when I greeted them or thanked them. I’m not gonna generalise all the staffs as I’m unsure of others, but the staffs who worked today( 03/6/24) were very rude to everyone. To all the staffs I met today please try to be professional. You may be stressed, frustrated or you may have high work load but please try to respect others and please try to give good service as you represent India and you are our primary contact as an Indian living in UK. Try to love your work as you are getting paid for the same . Try and show bit more patience to the costumers . Thanks to the vice consul , as he is the only person on whom I have seen a smile .

Appointment based system. Opens at 09.30 though counter service appears to open around 10.00. Some parking available outside. Copying facilities available. Dont take card payments, so cash only. Phones must be left at reception desk. Staff were polite, helpful and provided a professional service in a timely manner.

Rude staff at reception. Only cash payment possible here, they collect your money bag, mobile everything at the entry. After submitting your application the signing authority get awakes at 11:00 to sign the documents. High security doors doesn’t allow anyone else to enter the premises.

The staff were polite and helpful. I have never experienced such a nice consulate before. I came with the wrong kind of appointment, but they helped me with what I needed anyway. The website did not mention some of the documentation needed, however there is a printer and computer here which one can use to print, scan, copy or upload anything that was missing.

I had applied for a passport renewal almost 6 weeks back, but I had to urgently travel to India due to a family emergency. I went to VFS last wednesday with the hopes of converting my application to a Tatkal service, but they directed me to get permission for this from the consulate. I contacted the consulate on the emergency number provided, and they were very responsive. I told them I was stood outside the consulate office, and they arranged for me to talk to a passport officer. I went into the consulate and the security officer Mr Sushil Kumar was extremely helpful. He directed me to Ms Jasbinderji, who was very kind, and heard out my issues with patience. She reassured me that they will do the necessary to process my passport urgently. I received my passport within 3 working days of this visit, and I can’t express how thankful I am for this brilliant service! Thank you very very much for being so kind and helpful!
