Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 Very professional company. At the same time very friendly and personable service. Rachael was so kind and helpful arranging my dear aunt’s funeral this week. Always at the end of the phone to explain and answer any questions. No delays in the whole process amazing service. Lost my dad in January and we used a different funeral company where sadly we had delays and problems throughout. Will always use stephen godber in the future. Hopefully in the far distant future. Thankyou again Rachael x

My Dad was in the best of hands and I know he would have been delighted with the most respectful and dignified send off organised by Rachel. I and my family are really grateful for the help, support and empathy given over the last 10 weeks and extend a heartfelt Thank you.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 I chose Stephen M Godber funeral directors after witnessing the high standard of professional service they were providing for another funeral. After my mother died I called them and they removed her body discretely. They were companionate and helpful and done everything to assist while holding my mother’s body. On the day of the funeral they once again provided an excellent service helping the day run smoothly. I was sad to say goodbye. I would use them again & definitely recommend. Furthermore their fees are not extortionate like other funeral directors and it’s worth comparing as you’ll find others have ridiculous fees for nothing at all.

After being terribly let down by Roberts & Brainless, Godbers (so far) have achieved more in 1 day than the others achieved in our 1 week of chasing. Plus, they don’t refer to our Dad as “the body”, but rather… By his name and by Dad❤️
I’ll be sure to update this review after the funeral. So far the experience is well above what we’ve had elsewhere.

Rachael and the team at Stephen Godber’s Funerals are so incredibly professional in everything that they do. They treat the family and the family’s loved one that has passed, with so much care and respect throughout the whole funeral journey ( pre / during and post funeral). Rachael and the team are really kind and sensitive, and treat your loved one with respect, care and dignity.
Everything Dad wanted was arranged and organised brilliantly. Any questions or amendments we had, Rachael answered and took care of it for us quickly, efficiently and above all with so much care and professionalism.
Thank you from our hearts for helping us with Dad’s celebration of his life. You helped us do Dad proud. I highly recommend and can’t recommend enough, Stephen Godber’s Funeral...
