Nothing was too much trouble, including getting out of our cul-de-sac with limited turning space. A reasonable price with a highly, personalised touch. Highly supportive throughout the funeral, guiding everyone very professionally.

It was a great relief at a difficult time to know they were taking care of everything. They went above and beyond what I expected and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend them.

Their care of the Newton, Rutter and Blundell families was exemplary, respectful and caring and there were times when they went above and beyond what was expected. Their long history as funeral directors was evident in their professionalism, as we were supported, guided and kept informed every step of the way.

The order of service booklet was of the highest quality and as a keepsake, it has brought much comfort.
Even at such a sad and difficult time all the family and friends of Barbara commented on how smoothly and well the funeral was conducted, ensuring a peaceful rounding-off of Barbara’s amazing life. We all say ‘thank you’.

From the evening Phil and Kevin collected Margaret from home, she was treated with utmost dignity and respect, and we were reassured she was in the safest hands we could wish for.
We then met with Phil who guided us through every step with absolute empathy and answering our many, many questions.
The celebrant Dave was absolutely amazing, he was very patient as he helped us construct a truly wonderful service, that had touches of humour, but remained dignified and respectful.
The horses and carriage were beautifully turned out, and provided that final regal touch to our Queen’s final journey
Every single member of staff I have met was absolutely professional, but still with the warmth and understanding that a smaller family run company can provide.
I would highly recommend Stephen & Philip Painte...
