The meat, especially boerewors is the best i have ever tasted in Euro and UK, it even nicer than ones you get from SA shops such as Woolworths. He uses the best spices and best cuts of meat. The unbleached tripe just takes me home. I usually call Craig to place my special orders and he never disappoints me.

Rating:5 I’ve lived in the UK for over 20 years, and I have tried many local attempts at making boerewors, but the boerewors which Craig makes is by far the best I’ve tried in the UK. He succeeds in all three areas: the meat is quite coarsely ground and not minced too finely, which is where many butchers go wrong; the mixture and balance of spices is perfect; and the casings which he uses are strong and don’t break apart on the braai. The taste of the boerewors is perfect, and many friends, both English and South African say how much they enjoy it. I visited the shop in person in West Bromwich and Craig is a delightfully friendly and helpful guy – nothing is too much trouble for his customers. He does also offer postal delivery but I prefer to visit in person. Craig followed up with a phone call to check everything was ok – this is how you run a business! I will certainly be back for more of this amazing boerewors. Thanks Craig!

I’m in there once or twice every week coz no-one can beat Legacy Meat Market on quality, prices and service. I would give 100 stars if I could. Keep being awesome
