0 You have already voted! Rating:1 We booked very far in advanced and the pictures showed a lovely property when we arrived it was very different. The boiler engineer appeared without our knowledge of an issue and condemned the boiler so no hot water or heating we had a 20 week pregnant person in our group so this was even worse.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 I have never before had a weekend away to be greeted by such an unpleasant, unclean place to stay. From dirty washing in the machine, dirty kitchen and oven, brown sticky marks on the walls to a used covid test in the wardrobe. To make it worse – The boiler had broken and there was no hot water or heating. I understand the boiler was probably just unlucky! But that level of uncleanliness it totally unacceptable. We actually had to then find ourselves (a group of 8) somewhere else to stay late on a Friday afternoon. When raising the concerns it was stated they had a daily cleaner and it couldn’t have been in the mess it was in. Safe to say we were disgusted. I understand that the place was cheap and you get what you pay for but I would not have paid a penny to stay there.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Our stay was amazing . I have no words for how comfortable everything was . From the beds to the whole house. It just feels like home .It had everything we needed ! It is an excellent place to stay and the host is always reachable to answer all questions and enquires.

Absolutely disgusted with the cleanliness of the place! It had not been hoovered, kitchen had not been cleaned. There was a used covid test in the wardrobe! Other peoples shoes in the ‘gym’ area. Broken boiler (which couldn’t be helped) so no hot water or heating available during our stay. When we approached this with the owner to see what she would do about the matter she told us to go and buy a kettle and some heaters our self! Owner didn’t see what the issue was with the brown sticky marks on the walls, wet washing in the washing machines, crumbs and old food in the fridge, grimey oven that you wouldn’t want to cook in ever, funny smell and odor throughout like old grease! Black dirty walk way through the living carpet, stains on the carpet and the sofas. It didn’t cost much for the weekend and I can totally see why now! Absolutely disgraceful, the photos on the listing are clearly from a very long time ago because it doesn’t look like that now. ...

The owner then told us to go and buy heaters and a kettle to warm water there was no offer to buy these as much as the owner tries to say on her response to our review.
There were people’s clothes in the washing machine, shoes in the gym a used covid test in the wardrobe, filthy marks down the walls, old food in the fridge. All shocking in a normal situation but at covid sensitive times just disgusting. We have photos of all of these things so can prove all details given. Had to find another property for 8 ladies last minute just trying to celebrate our mum’s 60th birthday!
