Showing 5 reviews Rating:2 Went to collect a tie for my Nephew. No one in Reception, so waited and tried calling the school. Eventually found someone in a side office who said the ties hadn’t come in today, as they’d originally stated so I’d have to come back tomorrow. Other Parents were turning up as I left. Why didn’t they inform us of this or at least put up a poster in Reception rather than wasting our time?

Rating:1 First of all this school sucks.it smells like blood and sweat in there and the pe teachers are so rude and they force u to join clubs when you don’t want to plus There are mental/crazy kids there and my friends from primary school say that it’s like a prison.me and my friends from primary school are moving to other secondary schools and the teachers give u detention for no reason.they don’t even follow their own bullying policy and there motto is a joke.too many bullies are around, and the school aren’t forcin. ENough action towards them. I am very disappointed at what this has become , I am very sure that I am not the only one there are many others who do agree with me. The ofsted reports speak for themselves.Please do not go here your life will be ruined and you will have a bad future if you go here.Every teacher is a hypocrite and I think everyone else including me want to move to another school.Absolutely astonished at what this school has become! 0 You have already voted! Rating:1 School is an absolute disgrace, Mr Shackleton (head teacher) and every other teacher at this school has no control over the students. Head teachers should be in charge but the students run the school and dont recieve any punishment for the bad behaviour and allow students to return after several exclusions and continue to ruin the education for every other child at the school. DO NOT send your child here. Teachers reading this review you should be ashamed of what you allow your children to go through, can you honestly say that a day goes by when one of your students isn’t being beat up/bullied and that you do enough to target this problem?? they would be safer in the hands of ISIS!!!

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 My time at this school was very enjoyable. There are brilliant staff in all departments, and there seemed to be a good management system. All schools have their problems but this one worked for me. My only quarrel was the limited sixth form options – due to lack of staff able/willing to teach science subjects at A-Level. However, I will say that senior staff were very willing (and even encouraged) to hear the student opinion. [I Finished studying here in 2013]
