    I didn’t even get to the stage of booking called up waited 15 mins got through to reception asked how much a CT scan was. The receptionist then told me she don’t know then said let me go find out and put me on hold for a further 15 mins. Surely that is basic information that the receptionist should know considering I went through the specific options. Can see why the reviews are so poor. I wouldn’t bother.

    I had an appointment at 18:45, but at 16:45 a nurse called to ask if I could come earlier at 17:45. We rushed out and received a text message confirming the time change to 17:45. When we arrived at the hospital, we waited until 18:30 before asking if we had been forgotten. The staff then told us our appointment was at 18:45, even though we had received a text confirming the earlier time. The administration at this hospital is a mess.

    Had a CT Heart scan and the experience itself was less than satisfactory. Scanned in a mobile unit, had to wear a gown that was too small and had clearly been worn before, then as I was changing back heard the nurses expressing concern about working with a colleague, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Also the receptionist didn’t know how the bill was supposed to be paid. The receptionist said she would call re payment details and I have not heard anything. They said I would be contacted in a couple of days by a doctor with results. 6 days later and I have not heard anything. I’ve now been waiting on a line for 30 minutes listening to “welcome your call will be answered shortly” so if you want a CT scan I suggest you go somewhere else.

    This 5* review is for my consultant, Miss Kate Brown, not the hospital.
    Her friendly professionalism, surgical skills, confidence, knowledge and expertise was above and beyond my expectations. From pre assessment, the operation itself to post and aftercare was faultless, I cannot rate her enough.
    Thank you Kate for my whole experience as your patient.
    As for the hospital itself, no comment.

    Beautiful place to stay for my Op. Surgeon made me feel at ease. Staff were professional, kind and welcoming. 5 star treatment from start to finish. Food was amazing and plenty of choice. Nothing was too much to ask for. Thank you to all the staff, nurses, doctors, health care assistants, kitchen staff etc for making my stay so welcoming. God bless u all .xxx
