Great place to stay, there are some issues but resolved once reported, staff is friendly. Best wishes for the Indian YMCA Birmingham, the only activity you can have inside hostel is table tennis

A place feels like home. The stay was indeed memorable. The rooms are nice but the architecture is old (although it’s great if you are looking for old British heritage). Bus service is at the doorstep. It’s in the midway of the city centre and Universities (such as UCB and UoB).
    You won’t feel homesickness here.

It’s a nice clean place but kind of hostel where you have to update your timings when you come and go and you can’t get anyone there, you can’t smoke or drink, if you’re a girl you’re not allowed to where shorts in common areas like dining room and kitchen. But there’s a plus point, once in a week your room is cleaned. Also if you don’t was your utensils for more than 4days then it would be thrown out without your consent. There’s domo pizza just outside the door of YMCA and Tesco is roughly 2mins walk, Morrisons is 20mins walk and 2 stops aways by bus.

It’s run down but it has potential early 18th century wooden panels refurbish with contemporary bedrooms modestly decorated 26 rooms slightly up market to the normal student accommodation.
