Showing 5 reviews Rating:4 Lovely central hotel. Right near coach and train station. Quiet. Nice room. Nice decor. Good size room. Very comfy bed. Huge bathroom. Good value – accessible posh. Only let down is no shower gel. Soap yes but no 10p sachet of gel? And the hotel doesn’t do it, not just wasn’t in the room. Had to go out and buy my own. Only reason can’t give it 5 stars. Nearly opposite a Spoons too so it would have had 6 stars

Rating:4 The place was well priced for what I needed it for, which was a one night stay. Mattress was a little more firm than I would’ve liked but reasonably comfortable if you use both pillows (second pillow is usually located in the wardrobe)

Rating:3 Hotel staff were friendly and polite. The room was good value, I got what I paid for. I was able to hear another guest in the next room talking on their phone and I could hear their TV too.

Rating:1 Customer service was dry, wasn’t terrible but there was no real personality or welcoming atmosphere on arrival.

Rating:4 Friendly service, lovely clean room and big bathroom, the room had tea making facilities, a television, hair dryer, comfortable beds. The bathroom came with soap and hair/body wash however if you require conditioner I would suggest bringing your own. Didn’t use room service but a pleasant stay overall.

The room I had was rather quiet which I liked. I wouldn’t recommend drinking the tap water. I’d recommend bringing your own drinks if you can. Other than that, a fairly decent low budget hotel, in close proximity to the railway station.

It was clean and in a good location. I’d suggest taking your own tea bags if you like a nice cuppa.

The whole hotel smelled terrible and the bathroom smelt like sewerage which actually made me feel sick. The rooms are out dated and the TV is like 10 miles away from the bed and extra small. The beds are pretty small as well. The hotel overall was dark and unwelcoming, strange vibe.
Over priced for what you get. Never will stay there again.

Only downside is it’s on a main road so can be a bit noisy outside but I didn’t find this a problem personally and would recommend staying here
