Showing 5 reviews Rating:2 Staff were helpful but room wise it’s the worse premier inn I’ve been to. The bathroom had an extractor fan louder than an air raid siren so we had to shower in the dark as it was giving us a migraine. Even then it was still humming.

Rating:2 I chose this hotel as it is next to the station, and although you can see it from the station, the exit on that side is closed so you have to walk through a dark tunnel and along a rather usafe-looking path. Breakfast was a big disappointment – the cooked breakfast failed to appear 25 minutes after ordering it and I had to leave. On the second day, the breakfast did come, but it was barely edible – the watery scrambled egg was the worst I’d ever tasted. A clleague didn’t have a chair in her room, and the staff failed to do anything about it when she reported it. The room was stuffy and badly ventilated.

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 It’s a Premier Inn. You always get a comfy bed in simple clean surroundings. The pub next door is good, I had dinner and no complaints.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 The hotel has that Premier Inn standard. It was OK and I loved that my daughter had her bed and oh she loves it. When I requested for an iron they brought it with the ironing board and I was able to look tidy for my event without an additional cost. There is parking space but after an 1 hr there is a 3pounds fee.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Absolutely shocking. Although the train station platform is only 50y yards away from the hotel it took me over 25 minutes to walk to the station! What the hell is that all about? It’s a bit like living in a 4th world country!

Staff were friendly and helpful.
The area was a bit a rough around the hotel so I definitely was not leaving the hotel at night but had a good night’s sleep in the hotel.

Unless you’ve got a car forget it. Otherwise if you try to walk, it’s a muggers paradise!
The hotel ain’t great either.
