In the middle of May, in a room booked for families, I would have expected that the curtain, well, blocked light. The room had a floodlight pointed at the car park below, but also at pur room. The curtains didn’t have a thermal/blackout lining, which was a big missing thing.

The breakfast was lovely and served hot food from 8 – no complaints there

Will definitely stay again. Lovely friendly staff. Clean comfortable room . The breakfast was perfect. Plenty to eat and drink, the “serve yourself” buffet style was great! For the money we paid we could not grumble at all. Lots of free parking. Travellodge Solihull see you again

Perfectly nice hotel with decent rooms and bathrooms.

The Staff there are friendly, welcoming and helpful.

My only gripe was the breakfast. If you are going to do scrambled eggs on a buffet, you can’t let it constantly dry out. This is a problem with most Travelodge’s I visit, so not a unique issue with this hotel.

Yesterday, I lodged at this hotel. The room, though small, was tidy. The night staff was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, I experienced discomfort due to what seemed like bed bug bites. When I reported this to the morning receptionist, a lady, she was unresponsive and impolite, lacking professionalism. Disappointed with both her behavior and my overall stay at the hotel.

Reception, corridors and room exceptionally clean. All linen and towels spotless and nice and tidy. Upon arrival there was no-one in reception and I waited a while. I went through into the bar as I could see the reception staff looked after that too but they were not there either. Eventually the receptionist turned up pushing what looked like a small linen basket. She apologised and checked me in. When I checked out the next morning there was a different member of staff there who was also very polite. I didn’t have any meals so cannot comment on them. My room was towards the front of the building and I didn’t hear any noise. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into the centre of town.
