Showing 5 reviews Rating:3 Some friends ate there a friday night and thought it good enough to book for a large party (40 of us) for the next night. In retrospect this may not have been a good idea as they – rightly – split us up between tables, but perhaps felt compelled to have everyone served at the same time: even though we sat down at 8pm it was past 9:30 by the time our curries arrived – there seemed to be three waitstaff doing their level best to get everyone served, but I’d have thought given the number booked they may have had the foresight to rope more staff in.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Went for my Birthday with husband but surprised by my four oldest friends on arrival. The staff were attentive but not constantly pestering. The food was agreed by all as excellent. At end I was very kindly given a bottle of wine to take home. This place deserves more custom. They will certainly get it from us

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 I planned a surprise birthday meal for my wife for last night. As arranged, our guests arrived early and were well looked after by the staff. I only wished a camera had caught the look of surprise on my wife’s face. The whole meal was amazing, the staff were so attentive and even rounded off the evening with an impromptu surprise for my wife. Until we arrived, they had no idea it was a special occasion and they really deserve all the praise I can give. I don’t normally leave reviews but I couldn’t, in all conscience, not give my thanks to them all for a wonderful evening. All our guests were raving about the food as well.

0 You have already voted! Rating:3 Incredibly average overall; while the service during out sit in meal was very good and not overbearing, the food was the letdown. Some good attributes while still not being all that great. There was plenty of flavour in the dishes and the breads and rice were cooked perfectly, there was an overwhelming taste of salt through the curries. It spoils the experience massively. Had it not been for this a higher rating would have been offered.

Poppadums and pickle tray was our only starter. I enjoyed the red chilli and lime drizzle, had a random kick plus sour tang so quite enjoyable – we kept some back for the main course. Others enjoyed their mango chutney, which was smooth but not too sweet and had a bit of a background kick.
For my main, I opted for the Chicken Madras, which wasn’t bad… but amounted to slightly hardened lumps of chic...

The presentation of our food was handle (well check the pictures) can see fingerprints on the packaging.
The food not nice at all.
Very disappointed.
The hotel recommended it but we will be sharing the images and letting everyone know.
No cutlery or anything just aweful
