    Nice friendly staff.
Ideal if you want a quick katsu or something as it’s cheap with decent service. Sushi and sashimi were pretty poor. I ordered tuna sashimi which arrived a little frozen and a horrible colour, like an opaque greyish pink. I sent it back. Crab and tempura rolls were ok. It’s cheap and cheerful with quality to reflect the speed and low price.

Pretty sure this once was the Drucker’s coffee and cake shop and we had walked past the new restaurant we decided to try as I have experienced Japanese food (yum) in Japan.
We weren’t disappointed-all the staff, including Japanese nationals, are very service oriented (esp Atika) and take time to explain the complex menu options for items like poke bowl.
I went with the signature chicken katsu starter and a fresh sushi main plate and the meals served to the rest of our party were all good. Portions are huge and doggy boxes are provided to take leftovers home.
    Well worth a look.

First time visitor today for wife’s birthday lunch.
It was excellent. Surprisingly fast service, good quality restaurant food at fast food restaurant speed.
They made a surprise Birthday cake delivery and sing song to our table, which was lovely. The warming of the plum wine was a lovely touch. The chefs are great. The cleanliness is spot on too.
They have some great value offers too.
    It deserves the 5 stars.
The staff are so attentive and really care.
The decor is bright, fun and modern Japanese.
I have not been to Japan, but my wife used to live there. She was impressed, as was I.

Found this great restaurant whilst staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel opposite.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is colourful, cheerful and relaxing.

We ordered bubble teas to start. I had the strawberry milk which was great.

For our mains we ordered wok fried noodles with chicken, chili beef donburi and the vegetarian bento box.

We also had some miso soup and pickles.

The food is presented beautifully and super tasty. It was fun using chopsticks and added to the whole experience.

We had such a great time and the house manager made it even more comfortable.

Just a shame we don’t have the restaurant closer to us. We can’t wait to go back again when we travel to the midlands.
