A very welcoming atmosphere. Staff are extremely helpful and the library is always so clean.

I went in this morning for the 1st time. They were very very nice, clean environment, easy accessibility. Just ticked all the boxes, fully recommended!!

Lovely little library, modern and nice decor. Staff were very helpful setting me up. Quiet space to study. Printing revision notes is expensive, so only do what is necessary.

It’s a beautiful library – wonderful setting to settle down in and browse, and in an excellent location. However, there just aren’t enough books! Especially recent ones. Middle grade section was particularly sparse. Perhaps because it was the summer holidays, but we were disappointed with the stock. Strongly feel a “new releases” section/display for all age groups is needed.

Shirley library is a great little library. It is in the small side but there is also a dedicated Childrens section away from everything else. There are toilets, computers that are bookable, events including code club and the staff are always great. The council office for Solihull is here as well so housing, tax, planning permission, etc.
