Homeless service is very poor.i did wait 1 year to know oither they accept my application or not end result said reapplication very poor customer service

There is no help available if you need any from sandwell council, especially if you are working fulltime. I am waiting since August 23 regarding my homeless application but no one helped me as of yet. I went to oldbury council house twice and spoke with the advisors and was assured that someone will contact me from homeless team. Still waiting. Also I called homeless team about 12 times since August and they said someone will be in touch. But nothing. I think if you need help then don’t waste your time with sandwell council. Ask help from family members or friends if you got any. I hope someone from sandwell council will read this as well and will do something about it.

Homeless team are a waste of space. Promise call backs and don’t bother. Can’t call your homeless support officer as they won’t give out number. Dont wanna help me as I’m a single white male with kids.

Took a long time to gey on the register but once I found someone I could rely on she answered and chased every enquiry I had In a professional manner.

Taken over a month for feedback regarding an interview I had here, still don’t know if I got the job or not, am guessing not. Would be nice for some feedback and also for the courtesy of making unsucessful candidates aware of where they stand. Pretty unprofessional, so god only what their working standards and attitude towards the public are like.
