After FIVE WEEKS they still havent sent the PIP form.
Then each time when I rang they said wait another week,
    then started blaming Royal Mail,
Royal Mail said never received anything yet.
FIVE WEEKS! CANT EVEN DESPATCH A FORM LETTER!
And their phone number never works for inquires(called 10 times within 3 weeks), it hangs off automatically.
    Bravo DWP!!

Over an hour waiting on the phone, we have two boys…. Both of which severely disabled. Claim runs out on the 19th June 2023, we sent the paperwork back on the 9th February 2023. Have called twice to make sure it’s being handled. People I spoke to were friendly but still nothing is being done. Just get told decisions are being made very close to the deadline or “going to the wire”
Carers allowance will be stopped if claim runs over and it’s all unnecessary stress and anxiety. It’s a shambles. I feel immensely sorry for the people taking all the calls as it’s not their fault. I’ve asked for a call back from senior management. Doubt they will. I’ll be calling up again Monday no doubt.

First time I went was told there’s a 2 hr wait and will be re booked. The second time still had to wait and by the time I got in I was done in. You can’t get to park out side 90% of time because of the back log they have. They really need to sort this, they don’t realise how long it takes some people to get ready and get there, only to be told they will have to wait or re-book

I suppose it all comes down to who you see but the lady I saw was very nice and treated me nicely.
Wait time was minimal and the actual assessment took about 30 minutes.
Loads of parking down Clarence street 50m away from the entrance.
The seats in the waiting room were very comfy too.
