1) Staff on the phone were polite, however blamed the hospital for not sending information multiple times when, after having to speak with the hospital and coroner, it became apparent the registry office was to blame. They kept claiming the paperwork was in their ‘triage’ which is basically an inbox they seem unwilling to even check unless pushed.
2) When visiting to collect the death certificate the nice security man asked where we were going, showed us where to go, we explained we were early and he kindly said no problem, just check in at the desk and they will help you. Perfect.
That brings us to the lady at the desk….
“Hi, we have an appointment but it is not for another 20 minutes”
Lady at desk, “Well, if you could give me a clue as to your surname”… she then paused with a mild smirk.
As we desperately needed the death certificate due to 2 days of delays (see above) I smiled and gave her my name.

Building has 3 floors with various businesses inside. The magistrate courts, NHS building and some third party business.
Top floor is currently vacant. Lots of space downstairs. Staff are friendly and help sort my issue out.

When I reached there, receptionist offered me a seat. In less than 4mins, I was called.
The lady that attended to me was very nice, friendly, supportive, and professional. Within 5 to 10mins, she has finished everything and gave me my child birth certificate.
I have to commend them for efficient and effective services.
