The first thing that we noticed was the lovely set up of the restaurant – the decor is absolutely stunning. Then our lovely waitress Erica definitely elevated our experience – she was so sweet and ensured that we had the best service! She was very friendly and chatted with me which I loved, and was very speedy with our orders! After asking if we are celebrating an occasion and finding out it was for my birthday, she surprised me with a birthday cake at the end! Honestly could not be more grateful for her service! And the food was sooooo good . The portion sizes were also really filling – my boyfriend even struggled to finish and that never happens haha. If you’re going to order The Mayan King cocktail listen to your waitress/waiter – it is strong af. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here! So happy with our evening there. The waiter Ben did an exceptional job at looking after us and making sure we had what we needed, his customer service is spot on. The food was 10/10, I would recommend the chicken tacos the flavours were amazing. We left full up as the portion sizes of the main were good. The vibe in the restaurant was nice, everything was aesthetically pleasing which added to the experience

canal side table and it was gorgeous. The ambiance during the Mexican Mystique was nice. Wasn’t overly loud & we still could have a conversation. We celebrated our new positions at our jobs and they sent congratulations cards and cake. I’m so happy that we finally have a great restaurant in Birmingham with excellent service. We’ve already booked again. Thank you Mayan for a great dining experience ❤️
