Plenty to see, especially if you’re into bikes. Not much if you’re not, except for the peacock. If I had to make a criticism it’d be the atmosphere… It really needs some background music or maybe a narrator. Plenty of parking, cafe was nice and not too expensive.
Pokemon Go – 1 gym and 1 stop.

The museum has a comprehensive collection of vintage British motorbikes. Unfortunately there are very few modern bikes c.1980-present (although the few they have are very cool). The museum is expensive and not very interesting unless you have enthusiast-level knowledge of classic British bikes.

OK, so probably not the best museum from an engagement perspective but in terms of content it’s amazing. If they had more space and could display the motorbikes in scenes like some of the other transport museums rather than just rows and rows of amazing motorcycles it might be more engaging for a younger audience. If perhaps Triumph or some of the owners clubs sponsored or got involved in helping provide more info on the manufacturing history and there were some interactive exhibits to again attract a younger audience revenues might increase. Showing some of the bikes running and making it easier to photograph some of the more iconic bikes would be great. 5 stars because motorcycling has helped me mentally and because there are some beautiful bikes on display which are kept in immaculate condition.

Around a 1000 motorcycles celebrating the history of British motorcycle manufacturers. All beautifully restored. You can spend hours here. Good prices in cafe and plenty of free parking.
