0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Took 14 week old puppy to enquire about first groom, stated that puppy was nervous and did not like brush etc as I had this puppy off a lady at 13 weeks who had not done any training with him and we were introducing him slowly to the brush.

Rating:1 Unfortunately wont be returning. when I went into this shop I was greeted by a lovely lady with very short brown hair who booked my dog in for a groom, and was also setting up my monthly dog food order as I only live around the corner it would be easier to collect from here. A lady with shoulder length blonde hair came in (I assume the owner) looked me up and down, told the other lady she under charged me for my dogs groom so charged me more, and told me it would be easier for me to go and collect my dog food from pets at home. I’ve also been told this is how she’s also previously treated another black customer! Disgusting!

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 Well stocked shop with very knowledgeable staff who are quick to help. Pet food, treats, beds, all accessories you could hope to buy. Also have a grooming business located at the back of the shop. Pay and display parking nearby (free for short stay) and a very handy coffee shop next door.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Fantastic customer service, always happy to offer advice on food, health, and even fitting harnesses correctly – they all know their stuff. For a small shop they offer a huge variety of products… and even grooming/nails. I took my Mom’s nervous collie there and he smelt like a dream and looked so tidy. The groomers were so good with him. Chester my lab loves it here, I have to watch him near the “pick and mix” section, ha!

A member of staff said she would show me how to help brush him, continued brushing him for 20 minutes even though puppy had clearly become distressed, proceeded to grab puppy by fur on cheeks and hold him and stated ‘it’s ok todo this’.
She then took puppy through to groomer to trim around his eyes in the back room and asked me to wait outside, what felt like a life time of puppy screaming, I went in to get puppy 2 members of staff holding down a 2.5KG puppy and proceeded to tell me “if I stop now, the dog will think it’s ok to bite’.
Clearly no training in puppy first grooms or nervous dogs, don’t advise if you have a puppy. Spoken to multiple professionals, vet and other groomers after the incident and all have said this is not an acceptable way t...
