Showing 5 reviews Rating:4 Store layout is in a way to make the post office queue less visible. Frequently only one member of staff on the till when I go in. I’ve had some issues with weight and size on postal items which the staff explained well.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Went to claim the support scheme voucher and the man said I couldn’t do it because the address on my driving license was different. The letter clearly states that address identification is only required if the letter is addresses to the occupier. My letter was addresses to me and the man was very rude about it.

Rating:1 I went in to post a parcel at a time the PO should be open, it had the closed sign up and two women with not many customers refused to serve me, come back in an hour they said, can’t you take it now the postman and his van had just turned up, “no” they said, you need a stamp? If you have to wonder will it be open or not when it says it should be, why bother, so I won’t again its to much hassle to get their only to have lazy workers not bothered to serve you.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Not sure why this is advertised as a post office as they pick and. choose when they will open the post office. There are multiple times where they have told me the post office shuts at 2 and i’ve gone before then and they are now shutting at 1 even though they are advertised to be open until 7. I don’t see the point of a post office that opens and closes when it likes. The staff are also rude, act like you’re being difficult for wanting to be served and theres many times you will be standing at an empty till with nobody else in the shop and they will still find something to do rather than serving you. I also complained to one stop about the lack of PPE and covid precautions in this shop throughout the whole pandemic, as it seems like the staff here like to use the mask as a fashion item on their chin.

This one stop is terrible! Most of the staff are rude and behave like they’re doing you a favour, you stand at the post office counter and staff ignore you and serve other customers who literally just walk in the shop. They close the post office counter at strange times like 3pm but I think it’s only done due to them not being bothered.
Most times I go past there the staff are outside smoking and chatting with youths that hang around there sometimes in quite large groups.
Luckily there is another one stop literally half a mile further up the road so we use this as do most people I know that live in the area. This one has great staff, consistent opening times like a shop should be!
Seriously if I was you I’d give this one a miss and go up the road to the decent one!
