Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 First off, I’m absolutely outraged by any review that is less than 5 stars and can only advise that those people make a returned visit and adjust their ratings. I would not recommend this restaurant and that is simply because I would like to gatekeep this Birmingham treasure and keep it to myself. Every single staff member knows everything about the menu and then some. If you want something made to your taste, ask and they will go above and beyond to make it perfect for you. The cocktails were out of this world. The portions are outstanding so I would recommend going on an empty stomach but even if you don’t, you’ll find yourself going back to your leftovers even as you’re bursting as the food is such a delight. I was lucky enough to have gone on my birthday and the entire restaurant stopped to celebrate me! I’ve been waiting for my stomach to be empty from my last visit to go again.

Rating:5 Must visit in Birmingham! We had the karaage chicken, the Big 3 special which literally tasted like pizza and the Kara Miso. The portions were big and I’d have taken some food away but I couldn’t stop eating!

Rating:5 I’ve been searching for years for a decent ramen restaurant in Birmingham, and this place is not disappointing indeed.

Rating:4 Been here twice during a short stay in Birmingham, the ramen taste good and authentic. Fried chicken is delicious to me but my boyfriend said it’s salty. General good, perfect for a quick bite.

Rating:5 Honestly the quality and portion of food is astounding. Each staff , from the chefs to waiters / waitresses are lovely and make you feel so welcomed. I’ve pretty much tried EVERY dish and cannot complain. Lastly, cocktails are DEEEEElicious. For a new restaurant these guys are flourishing so well you’d think it’s been in business for years. Nando’s who ?

I love ramen and have travelled to Japan; this is hands down the best ramen I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere is authentic yet spacious. The seats are comfy and the staff are really knowledgeable on the menu, served us well and we didn’t feel rushed to leave. We took their recommendations on what to order and were not disappointed. I had the Smoky Bob cocktail (the one with white rum) and was transported to Jamaica. As a well travelled foodie, I loved this place and can’t wait to go back.

The noodles have a good texture and the broth is rich in flavour, only thing is that the chicken is slightly too salty.
Sake is a bit pricey but it’s worth the price, we ordered the Yuzu one and it’s very refreshing.
