Me and my husband are regular customers to Miller and Carter in Lancing, West Sussex and came to this one while on holiday. We were not disappointed. Was a nice quiet place with great food and service. Our waiter Simon was such a laugh and a generally nice guy.
If we come back up to Solihull way again we will be back!

A birthday treat for my wife and I on her birthday. We had a lovely table for 2 out of the way. Cath our waitress was amazing and made us feel special. We were particularly grateful for the advice she gave with regards to the cooking of the steak. The food was lovely, all cooked exactly how we wanted and delicious. We were able to take our time over each course. Worth every penny.

We had a lovely meal.
Sylvia looked after us wonderfully, nothing was too much trouble for her, she made our meal even lovelier.

Perhaps my expectations were high. Never been to a Miller and Carter but wanted a nice steak place to take my boyfriend for his birthday dinner. Exterior is nice but as soon as you enter you have an airport restaurant vibe. Interiors are very dated. Service was clearly busy but understandable if everyone is dinning at the same time. I wish I had taken a picture of the spicy chicken wings. They were frozen wings, deep fried with cold bbq sauce squirted on the top. Regretted ordering them as soon as I received it. What I will say is if it’s a steak you’re after, then go for it. My ribeye was delicious. However, if you fancy a green salad – don’t! I ordered a green salad – picture attached and was charged £4.95. Have you seen anything sadder? Desserts – again nothing fresh all frozen or out of a can. Only redeeming thing that night was the Catherine who was simply brilliant. Funny, attentive and great interaction. Would I return? Doubt it. Not my style.
