Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 No one at the till there’s always long queues and half of the cash machines don’t work. When buying pastries be careful there’s many people picking up pastries with their hands and putting it back, also mosquitos. Shopping baskets and cash machines they are not very clean.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Yesterday I was buying something for my son and I only had 1£ in coins. The guy did not accept me paying with 2 pence coins, which is against the law to refuse this, another client had to pay my article, and they still kept all my coins. There’s always long queues, half of the machines are not working, there’s never people at the till to attend and the place is very unclean. Aldi is a lot better and is very similar but much cleaner and the staff there are very professional.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 This place has decent prices and some great random items. The bakery section is impressive, as are the German meats in the chiller. You can do a very good budget Oktoberfest or Christmas market at home from shopping here. The staff are very helpful when called upon. The carpark is surprisingly huge once you turn in off the high street, with plenty of spaces available.

Rating:1 Displayed many items at lower price and charged higher at checkout was completely illegal, but neither store manager nor the store colleague acknowledged their illegal action. They think its okay, store colleagues has no respect towards the customer, they get offended if you approach them with complain. They just start disputing with the customer to cover up their fault and sounds like never been trained on basic concepts of consumer law.

The 1 star rating is due to the terrible new manager who has been there about 6 to 9 months and new staff members. The longer service staff are great but this store used to be fantastic, but you just cannot ignore the awful customer service and this is due to the new manager who is seriously ignorant and treats staff like rubbish.
The basics have gone down the pan, like, staff cannot be bothered to move the baskets back to the front of the shop, so you have to go to the checkout first to get one, items are not replaced for weeks. I will only go there now, if I am desperate!
