The last time I visited next door Tesco that I have been using for 15 years. On Saturday 10th February 2024 I went to tesco Shirley, as I have been visiting this branch on three to four times a week, I got Duracell flat battery for my car key, took it home realised that I took the wrong size, did not opened the pack. Brought it back to the supermarket to exchanged it with the size I need and it is provided, at exactly 9pm while the lady was behind the counter told me that the customer service disk is closed. And I should go purchase the the batteries I need ( with the pointing of finger towards the battery section in the front of the isle), bring the ones that I don’t need the next day, I said it’s still 9 o’clock and could you please exchange the batteries. She pointed that it’s my fault for not bringing it back before 9pm. I realised that there is some kind of animosity with the timing. A really good Tesco store. Never have to wait very long as they keep the checkouts and self-serve moving all the time.

Arrived at the pharmacy at 21:00 exactly on 18th Jan 2024 after spending the whole day at the hospital with my toddler. The pharmacist refused to serve me, he was stood behind the counter closing up and could have used his discretion but chose to clock off on time instead. Left me stranded with nowhere to get my child’s antibiotics, disgraceful.
Another reason to move away from Tesco, service levels have fallen off a cliff in recent months.

They have got huge collection. I love shopping from here after Aldi. Prices are bit higher as compared to Aldi but they have got more variety then Aldi. Friendly staff.
