Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 Myself and four ladies attended the pilates group . When we initially walked into the class and we werw not welcomed at all, she did not introduce herself or ask us our previous experience with pilates, with two of the group having hysterectomy a couple of years back and myself recovering from abdominal surgery recently we were really looking forward to something that’s recommended to help following such procedures. I would of thought it be a given to ask standard experience questions instead we were left feeling unwelcome, embarrassed and pretty upset about the situation. We sat down and her first comment was ‘ i can already tell who will be standing at the back of the wall’ just to single us out even more. once sitting on the mats, another lady kindly came over and said you need to get weights for this class, with a response from the instructor of saying we’ll aren’t you being kind, which the lady responded to say we were new so wouldn’t know, The ...

0 You have already voted! Rating:3 Good size pool, lane swimming on a Monday. Can get quite busy. Lockers available in the changing rooms for £1 which is refunded after use. Changing rooms condition is bad though, cleaning needs improving. Would strongly advise wet shoes/flipflops to anyone visiting.

0 You have already voted! Rating:3 Pool area good but facilities are basic and not worth a monthly membership so won’t be renewing. Male changing rooms and showers are dirty and usually smell of urine. Ceiling tiles above changing cubicles particularly filthy and unhygienic.

However, Julie on reception was very helpful on numerous occasions so can’t fault service

Overall, pool is great, hygienic, clean and has fresh water. Toilets are easily accessible and there is a wheelchair lift that goes down to the rooms as well as stairs. Highly recommend visiting for lessons or just for swimming in general.
