0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Nice Sri Lankan shop that I found by chance on Google while looking for nearby South Indian restaurants as was several hours away from home. Glad I decided to get a take away from here and did some shopping there. The food was excellent taste and good quality. Tried the fish meal in banana leaf. It came with generous portion of yellow rice, fish curry pieces without the curry, 2 fish cutlets, 1 boiled egg, aubergine curry, plantain & potato curry, fried onions. I had this sat in my car nearby as there is no place to eat in the shop. The fish cutlets were excellent as well. They also had chicken curry meal which I didn’t try. On other days they do lamb curry meals as well and different fish fry on pre order several hours before only.

Rating:5 Save the location in west Bromwich, remember the name “Kadayappan” must visit store who like to eat the best Sri Lankan sweets and spicy foods , place your order in advance and collect from the store later and wonderful customer service and with reasonable price and grab the products of best Sri Lankan brand names.

Tried some of the drinks in the cooler to go with meal which were good.
Lot of traditional Sri Lankan curry pastes and soups and dried fish and fish pickles and many Sri Lankan rice varieties are sold there and I bought several of them.

Secondly- customers service was great.
They don’t have any dine in service.
You can preorder and no parking next to the shops
Lamprais – was good but we have had better ones- if they have added chicken curry then it would have saved the dish. (Bit dry – compared to usual Lamprais we have tried)
Fish rolls were amazing and would love to recommend
