Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 ***never again*** just moved to the area and thought we would try the local chip shop what a disappointment. We ordered fish and chips and a kebab, firstly when opening the kebab it was swimming in Grease so this went straight in the bin. Moving on to the fish and chips the batter on the fish was as hard as a tortoise shell and what fish was inside was also hard! See pictures below – never will I return back here also staff don’t speak or greet you with a smile! Also over priced I wouldn’t mind if food was good but this was all chucked in the bin!

0 You have already voted! Rating:2 The food is good, but the prices are way too high. I got over charged and questioned it managed to get it rectified, however it ruined the experience. I would recommend getting your price lists fixed on screen so they don’t keep changing.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Must be one of the most depressing chippies in England. Staff are always miserable and disinterested! Food takes a long time (always waiting on chips!), but tends to be nice once back at home.

0 You have already voted! Rating:2 Been going in for years and never seen one smile on the staffs faces. The owner looks a grumpy, unhappy man who doesn’t want to be there. The reason I have gone back is because the food is good. That is until today. A small doner meat and chips with salad os £6.40. That isn’t too bad but when you get meat which is dripping in grease it doesn’t sit well. Then there are the chips…they taste fine that is all 10 of them!! How can you serve Doner meat and chips and only spoon in 10 chips? So i basicay paid £6.40 for a tray of doner meat and salad.
