Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 We love visiting this viewing area as it’s part of the Sheldon county park so there’s no public toilets near by but it’s and a nice big area to sit down and chill out whilst watching the planes. A good pair of binoculars are handy to watch the planes in closer detail. There are plenty of bins around so please put your rubbish in and keep the area tidy. It’s worth taking some food and drinks with you and enjoy the day. Great place to visit and it’s within easy reach of local parking areas too.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 The airport viewing area was amazing, one of my best experiences so far, i highly recommend this place. The planes heading straight towards you as they climb up to the sky, you can see them directly from the runway.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Recommend to visit in sunny conditions as no where to shelter if it rains. Otherwise a great viewing area for enthusiasts, the view is great. You can feel the wake turbulence once the A380 departs (and the jet wash at other end of runway!)

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 It’s a nice park for a walk, jogging, cycling or a little family picnic/outing while being fascinated by watching planes landing and taking off. I always love to visit this park on a sunny day. There are benches also available to sit and enjoy watching planes, or you can sit on grass. There’s no need for tickets.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Great place to sit and show the kids planes taking off and landing. Lots of space to have a little picnic. No toilets unless walking back to the car park ( About 20 mins away).
