0 You have already voted! Rating:5 The best place by far to view the planes. If you sit on the hill you can sometimes feel the heat of the engines and the high wind whistling through the blades of grass. 10 stars out of 5 for me.

But, according to Solihull Council, deserted Clock Lane is a vital part of the airport and parking here will earn you fine. So, either park at the airport and walk over, ride a bike or teleport yourself to avoid the wrath of Solihull Council and save yourself £35.

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 Good place to see planes taking off or landing, but no parking nearby. I prefer the other end of the runway at Sheldon country park. There’s loads of parking and a much clearer view of the full runway.
