0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Hamstead has recently been repainted and this station is not bad. Sure there isn’t a Footbridge connecting platforms so you have to go to street level and walk across the road to reach the other platform, and the station is unmanned, and the waiting room is quite small, but there is quite small crime. There are buses to Newton and Perry Barr and trains to Wolverhampton, Walsall and Rugeley every half hour.
