Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 I cannot speak highly enough of the amazing team at James Horner Vets. As an independent vet, they truly go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 We wouldn’t trust our pets with anyone else! Like many people, we swapped over from a local chain 12 months ago and have never looked back. As a regular visitor with one of our pets, I can honestly say you are such a lovely, welcoming, friendly practice. You are genuinely interested in the animals who come through your door (I’ve seen a few while waiting for our appointments). Your practice is a breath of fresh air, with amazing staff that range from the reception team who greet and look after you, to the nurses and the vets. What a phenomenal team you are, keep doing what you do best and let your outstanding reviews do the talking!

My dog was in for a big operation a few weeks ago and the time spent explaining the procedure certainly put my mind at rest. Follow up appointments have ensured she is recovering well. I recommend James Horner and his team to anyone looking for a vet for their dog or cat.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 We moved to this vets when we found out about their gold plan. I had an old cat who was costing a fortune with regular visits and ill health. The gold plan really helped reduce costs. This vets did come highly recommended for the caring and knowledgeable staff and they’ve excelled any expectations I had . My husband has Parkinson’s disease and on one of his last visits when I was working the vet Kat insisted on helping him carry the cat cage back to the car after the appointment ,which was in Morrisons car park. Thank you so much Kat for caring both for Ginger and my husband. I was really touched with your kindness. Also thank you to all the vets I have seen. You have all been lovely. If my cats could write this review the would say you are purrfect.

The entire team is incredibly supportive and always ready to answer any questions, no matter how trivial they might seem. They never make you feel silly for asking, and their patience in addressing concerns is genuinely comforting. Their dedication to putting clients’ minds at ease is evident in every interaction.
Recently, my dog has been quite unwell, and the team at James Horner Vets have been nothing short of fantastic. They made sure to see him as soon as possible, providing prompt and attentive care. It’s clear that they treat every animal as if it were their own, showing genuine concern and compassion.

Staff are caring, polite and happy to help. Customer service is genuinely excellent. Talking to them in person, over the phone or WhatsApp, they always ensure to give you an advise and accurate information, even if you are not seeing a vet.
Called medivet as my male cat couldn’t urinate and was constantly going to the litter box in distress, they told me if that was the case he would be dead. After this response, I fully switched to James Horner practice. They immediately saw him, calmed me down and gave clear advise on what to do. My cats was doing better by the evening.
Called them once with having found a very pregnant cat with fleas abandoned on the street. Medivet told me to leave her where she is and call RSPCA. Happily, called James Horner vets as well, and they immediately helped me, gave me advise on how to clean her up and saw her few days later. James took me thr...
