I would like to sincerely thank the vet who took a keen interest in my elderly cats health and the nurse whose approach towards my cat was fantastic. Thanks to them the visit and blood taking was stress-free. The positive change resulting from accurate diagnosis have restored the hope that was previously taken away at another clinic.

My experience at the Lodge Road clinic in West Bromwich was disappointing. Despite booking my puppy for his 2nd vaccinations, the vet showed no interaction or friendliness towards him. Upon arrival, the veterinary nurse efficiently checked us in, but the vet seemed rushed during our appointment. He didn’t attempt to comfort my dog or engage with him, which was unsettling. After the jab, I had to prompt the vet to check my dog over, as he didn’t initiate it himself. It was disheartening to see my dog receive an injection without any attempt to calm him. Additionally, the wait in the waiting room was prolonged, with little communication from the staff about the delay. Overall, the lack of empathy and communication from the vet made for a disappointing experience.

Phoned the practice yesterday to be told they don`t have any vets there till next week!Oh I could go to one of their other practices in Great Barr or Kingstanding. Not good as I joined this practice as it was easy to reach by bus if I needed to.
We used this practice when Mr Dawes was the senior vet in the 1950`s until we moved away.
.I did get a shock to be told they had no vets available.

Staff on reception didn’t even acknowledge me when we walked in. Luckily Clare appeared and added us as arrived.
Vet didn’t bother to introduced himself. Did ask if dog was ok but gave her the boosters before listening to her heart.
Didn’t check tummy, teeth or nails or comment about her weight.

Was concerned our pooch may have ear inf/water infection. Was seen by vets quite quickly. Pooch jumped on scales n weighed. Straight into see vet , only to be told, she’d got wax in her ears. Quick clean with an ear bud n told she MAY have allergy. Given sum meds in less than 8 minutes!! Then the shock
£256.00.. I honestly can’t believe we were ripped off! No wonder ppl can’t afford vet bills…partner paid bill as pooch was unsettled.
There will definitely be a complaint tomorrow n we WILL NOT BE RETUNING!! ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL
