Had an emergency visit to Willows with our very anxious Yorkshire terrier. All the staff were professional and friendly. The vet was so caring that our little dog even allowed her to carry him away from us for further tests. His treatment plan was discussed with us and our wishes were taken into consideration. The only negative was the big bill.

Leaving my pet is hard, but I know she is in good hands. The Willows staff are dedicated professionals who will diagnose and treat your furry friends . I have every faith in them and happy to leave any of my pets in their care

I cant thank you enough for looking after my baby Bailey. You have all been amazing and i’m so glad to have her back home. I have missed her so much! I got a call every morning with an update of Baileys progress which put me at ease. Me & Bailey will be sleeping like babies tonight.

The worst experience ever! Our dog was referred to here on a Saturday out of hours with high temperature and feeling very lethargic, we were told our dog needed to stay in for IV and white blood cell tests, the vet called in the morning to say they wasn’t sure what was wrong with him but he would need to stay in over the bank holiday weekend and see the specialist for suspected endocarditis, me and my partner both confused as he was showing no symptoms of this, I kept pointing out his eye discharge and running nose but this seemed to be dismissed.
After tests were taken we were told it was showing inflammation somewhere but this could be from a virus but was then was told he has an enlarged heart but that can be common in spaniels, as you can imagine we was worried sick he is only 8 months old! She then said as it’s the bank holiday weekend I’m not sure if the specialist will come in so it will likely be Tuesday, how much is your insurance covered up too! We said £6000 she said this ty...

We were referred to Willows via our local pets for vets for specialist treatment to be carried out. I’ve been impressed with every visit so far.
The place is clean and it’s friendly/welcoming.
It’s obvious they all genuinely care, even the reception staff, so leaving them there feels reassuring like they are in good hands.
The wait times are also good. I’ve not been kept waiting longer than 15 minutes for our appointment. The waiting area is modern & spacious & there is a self serving tea and coffee station available that’s free to use.
Mostly, the care pets receive seems to be second to none. My puppy has had to have a handful of splint changes on a broken paw under a GA. Every time I collect him he’s calm & content.
I was given a printed leaflet that explained the aftercare for at home, on it was a picture of my puppy’s X-ray (before and after the splint) with the break highlighted. I’ve not experienced that before in other vets but I found that really handy to have.
