I’ve visited a lot of zoos lately and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this zoo. The topography of the zoo/castle creates interesting views of the animals, which you wouldn’t get at other zoos. It could be an issue for people with limited mobility, but for someone who just wants to take photos of lots of animals, it was a great day out.

We went to see the baby arctic foxes and they were very cute. A great zoo with a large variety of animals and a castle to explore too. Very fun day out.

It’s absolutely lovely place to have out with the children and even on your own. There so many such a lovely animals all around and we were lucky that we went on the lovely warm, sunny day and all the animals was out. My children enjoyed the little train. At the reception they will give you a map which helps you walking around and don’t miss to see the animals.
They does have some food shops around walking the area. So you can sits into the forest around the animals and enjoy the views and your food too.
There are car park which you cost £3.50 for all day. You have to pay end of the day before you leave the place. If you don’t have a change you can buy the token at the reception paying by card.

Easy to navigate, parking was easy. Wide variety of animals and the enclosures looked decent. You can walk with the lemurs and get real close and also animals experiences are available to buy. Food and toilet experiences available, can easily spend a full day here with how much there is to see and plenty of benches to rest on your day. Lovely experience and glad I got to see the giraffes. Also lovely gift shop selection at the end so come prepared

First visit to Dudley Zoo and Castle, and what a great one it, spending five hours there.
It has so many elements and educational input from the history of the castle, exploring the different animals, different play parks for different ages and a few fairground rides (for younger/primary school children I would say). There is so much space and as it is on a hill, we took the train to the top and walked our way down, giving lots of space to explore and not feeling too crowded. Lots of places to sit and have a picnic. What we liked was the number of bins to encourage the spaces being kept clean for all visitors and roaming animals, including the beautiful peacocks. The sea lions stole the day for me, just beautiful.
The staff were friendly and polite. As with many attractions the food and drink / eateries are limited in terms of choice and look a little run down. However at the entrance the boards share the cost of running the zoo and this is impactful. Be kind and generous as r...

I had a truly incredible experience visiting the zoo today. The vast array of animal species was truly amazing and left me in awe. From majestic lions to playful monkeys, the variety of animals on display was simply breathtaking. I was thrilled to see so many different creatures up close and learn more about their behavior and habitats. Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure that I will always cherish.
