The City Gent flatters to decieve as the decor in this public house is absolutely fantastic , must have been a bank back in Victorian times as the ceiling is decorated in large plaster freezes and wonderful wooden panels . As for the pub side of it there is no atmosphere at all .

Fantastic architecture and decor from the days when it was a bank. Sometimes has good ale and sometimes not. Needs to lose the pool table and kids. They are both a nuisance.
