A nice wee site half an hour from Leeds but in rolling countryside. On site toilets, dishwashing and wi-fi. Really windy when we visited, so much so we couldn’t get our tent up. Staff were great and changed us to one of their glamping pods at short notice. Loads of room to sleep family of 4 with kettle and microwave. Will happily use again.

The view from our site ( number 1) was incredible. Sally helped us turn the caravan so we faced the countryside. The facilities were spotless and warm. ( Stayed in January). There are numerous beautiful walks from the site, not least into Otley ..long and steep…or up to the Chevin pub..short!
We had a fantastic weekend away. I would totally recommend Clarion Lodge.

Lovely caravan/ camping site , just be aware that this site is on the flight path of Leeds/ Bradford Airport ! Very noisy from 5 / 6am with planes landing and taking off.
Lovely views out to the moors nice Sunsets.
The only thing I could complain about was there was only 3 toilets each for men and women, that wasn’t enough for the amount of people staying. Also I’m not sure if the bathroom area was cleaned but the ladies ran out of loo roll on the Saturday afternoon and wasn’t replaced.

Arrived at site – which has a remote check in – there’s a whiteboard that’s supposed to have your details on where to pitch. This hadn’t been updated so we ended up having to ring the number on the website, as did all the other who arrived us afterwards.
The site itself is very very small and directly under the flight path for Leeds/Bradford airport – it’s not a problem at night – but it’s quite busy during the day. There is no mention of this at all on any of the site information. Reminds us of holiday brochures in the 80’s that didn’t quite tell the whole truth.
The Elsan point is not marked on their map which is sent by pdf – it’s actually through the Ladies toilet building. I appreciate that it’s a small site but this information would be handy to have to hand, rather than wandering about with your loo in hand trying to find one…
Also would be good to have a motion sensor in the loos for the lights – which are on a timer – and which plunge ...

Great site. First camp in 30 years & couldn’t have picked a better place. Really clean, good toilet/shower/washing up facilities. Beautiful location & very good pub, with great food, a 5 min walk away. And only £25 a night.
